The hardships I endure to spend time with my family.

The Belstead Brook Hotel sits in nine acres of tranquil gardens alongside a rubbish filled polluted willow-lined stream. The 16th Century hunting lodge is still very much at the heart of the hotel, and in stark contrast to the new, gaudy, yet affordable, starter homes threatening to swamp it. If you are lucky, you can catch a glimpse over the fields of the tiny bit of woodland that is left over from recent building developments, and just beyond that the thundering A12(14) or is it A14(12)?. Do not be tempted to believe your sat nav when directing you home, that you can in fact drive up Bobbits Lane. All this will ensure is that you get to see the tiny bit of Spring Wood that is left, at much closer range, before taking a sniff of the sewage works, and having to turn back around. If you find the cost of the bar prohibitive, then a short walk in almost any direction will take you to a late night shop, serving not only alcohol, but a variety of junk food snacks and a wider variety of tobacco products.
Enjoy your stay, and make sure you pop in and say hello, I’m 15mins walk away ๐
How do they get the blue sky to stay there above it like that – that must be where Suffolk’s sunshine has been hiding.
I think you had the left hand half of this one, and we have the right hand side.
The thought of seeing you was all that got me through the week, Tim. Humph. Hope you enjoyed it there ๐
Oh dear, but just think how I felt, missing out on seeing you all wet and muddy. ๐
