I prefer tea from a pot, it always gets too strong if I leave it in the cup for long enough. But I don’t have a decent one (yet) only a tidgy one that’s not much bigger than a cup anyway and a huge one that is just odd.
Have always felt vaguely ashamed fo myself for abandoning the ‘loose tea in a pot’ method I was brought up with and taking up ‘dunk a bag and call it tea’ habits. Now I will dig out the cute dancing bunnies tea pot from the cupboard…
Well sort of ambivalent about this story really, whilst on the one hand I’m not surprised, and if it helps someone come back over to the ‘way of the pot’ then all well and good. On the other hand I think it just deflects attention from the total superiority of the ‘teapot’ method in terms of quality. We stands on it’s own merits and doesn’t need ‘health’ kick.
As for you Clare, well sometimes there is just no hope…..
yes, well, you know, I did know this, I just leave my teabag in the cup for 10 minutes (first thing in the morning I can’t really be bothered to take it out)
ha ha ha ha. chris will love that
I’m almost put off one now, what’s the fun in using it if it’s good for you! 😆
Right on, Nic!
Yes but who cares if it’s just plain nicer made in a cup???
