Political Compass

19 February 2006 by Tim

I was rather upset by my outcome on the political compass test.

My result puts me unnervingly close to the Dalai Lama and the Green Party. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

On the brighter side I came out as Mastermind Rational (iNTj) in this test ๐Ÿ™‚

I was even farther left – which surprised me as I’ve never really considered myself as a ‘leftie’ ๐Ÿ˜€

More libertarian than Gandhi, giving the Dalai Lama a run for his money. I think I’m drifting, don’t think I was that libertarian last time, though I’ve always tended to the left on these things.

    Economic Left/Right: -3.63
    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.51
Which is a lot further left than when I first did this about 3 years ago!

I seem to have drifted both left and down. A reaction to the politicians drifting the other way?

Lefty Libertarian apparently, in roughly the same spot as Gandhi.
    Is that good or bad?

Grin… oh well, should make late night political debate fairly uncomplicated anyway.

That puts you not quite as right wing as Ariel Sharon and not quite as authoritarian as Saddam Hussein.

Which should spice things up a bit… ๐Ÿ˜‰

I can’t remember the figures (did this a while ago) but I was just about to fall off the bottom left corner – v. left, v.libertarian. I put the print out on my office notice board and my boss popped in about something.
“Very left wing aren’t you… Ooh, very libertarian too…”
Nervous laughter and a VERY polite request to do a piece of work.

I have done this before about a year ago and think I scored roughly similar.

Type ISJF although the question about enjoying solitary walks can tip me into ESJF but the ISJF one sounds more like me.
Is it just me that wants to qualify all these statements, “Yes I like solitary walks if they are round the shops but not if I’m wandering aimlessly round the streets” ?!

I’m with Allie falling off the bottom left corner, think that was the same as when we did this pre-election.
